Josh is not simply a drum kit teacher. He became a true mentor to my son. Their lessons were not limited to drum books or paradiddles. While ensuring my son mastered numerous techniques, they also were free to explore things my son was interested in such as metal drumming and various jazz techniques. Josh is a dedicated musician who is an excellent influence on my son and was encouraging and supportive. His lessons were a complement to my son’s high school music program curriculum, as well as he was able to help him prepare for auditions for district and state bands at the high school level. My son recently graduated and is leaving for college, yet I know he will continue to see Josh for drop in lessons during school breaks when time allows. He is truly THAT good!
